With Charlotte as his home base, Josh oversees Lumos Networks’ data center efforts across Lumos Networks’ entire fiber network, including those of Lumos Data Centers (formerly DC74 acquired by Lumos in February of 2017). Prior to joining Lumos Networks, Josh was the SVP and Director of Northridge/Perficient, based in Charlotte, and was focused on Business Development throughout the Carolinas and Metro DC markets since 2011. From 2005-2011, Josh was the General Manager and Regional Director of Hosted Solutions/Windstream Communications Charlotte Data Center Operation, where he helped launch and was tasked with maximizing sales growth in that market. Josh has deep experience in the robust Charlotte data center market.
From 2006-2012 and again from 2015-2017, Michael was a Senior Consultant at TierPoint, based in Charlotte, and was focused on the delivery of IaaS-Cloud/Hybrid, Managed Hosting & Data Center services. During the period from 2012-2015, Michael served as a Partner Account Executive at Alert Logic in Charlotte focused on providing security and compliance solutions to on-premises, cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Michael has deep experience and relationships in the robust Charlotte data center market continue the Lumos tradition of creating customer-focused solutions at Lumos Data Centers.
Rolando comes to Lumos from Tierpoint, formerly Windstream Hosted Solutions. For the last ten years he has held various data center roles, ultimately earning the role of Data Center Manager. In this role he oversaw the NOC team and all aspects of day to day data center operations for two Charlotte facilities. This included 24x7 staffing, infrastructure preventive maintenance testing, service delivery, QA, and datacenter improvements. Rolando served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 – 2006 as a Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense Specialist and a Tactical Data Center Specialist. Rolando received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from ECPI. Rolando currently works out of the Lumos Data Centers Charlotte office and is responsible for day to day operations of 3 Charlotte data centers, including managerial responsibilities for the NOC team and local Facilities.
Mr. Allgauer was appointed Director of Technical Operations of Lumos Data Centers in October 2017. He had previously served as the IT Infrastructure Manager for Lumos Networks since July 2016. Prior to that, he served as Information Systems Manager at Inovalon, a data analytics company in the healthcare industry, where he led the Systems Engineering and Cloud Portfolio teams in designing and building the IT infrastructure for a high growth business. Prior to that, he served as the Manager of Support for Bay Bridge Decision Technologies where he led a team of engineers tasked with managing the data center, application hosting and deployments, and providing support to Fortune 100 customers until the company’s acquisition in 2012. He has also held various Systems Engineering and Administration positions at DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), Social Security Administration, Hewlett-Packard, and Advance Auto Parts. Mr. Allgauer holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Information Systems from Radford University.
Matthew serves as the Director of Client Services and Systems and reports to Josh Wolff as a member of the Lumos Data Centers Leadership Team. He joined Lumos Data Centers through the acquisition of DC74 where he was a member of the executive team. For over 20 years he has held various positions within the data center and webhosting industries with specific focus on customer and business growth, systems management and operations. Matthew currently works out of the Lumos Data Centers Charlotte office and is responsible for overseeing Client Services, regulatory compliance audits and standards, customer portal and direct management of key customer accounts.
Dave Binford with over 17 years in Data Center Operations experience was appointed Director of Network Engineering, LDS in September of 2017. He had previously severed as Director of Data Center Operations since 2008 for DC74 DATACENTERS. Lumos Networks acquired DC74 in February of 2017. Prior to joining DC74, he was the Director of Operations at Carolina Internet from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that he served as CTO at 1st Americard from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that he served as Senior Network Engineer at DestinyPC/Carolina Internet from 2000 to 2003. He also proudly served in the United States Marines Corps from 1993 to 2001 as a Combat Engineer and Data Systems Administrator.
Cindy has approximately 30 years of experience in the accounting field. In 1986, Cindy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida. She began her career at Barnett Bank in the auditing department where she was involved in financial, operational, compliance and IT auditing. After, she worked as an independent consultant specializing in small business accounting until taking on the role of Director of Accounting for DC74 Data Centers in 2012 and subsequently Lumos Data Center/ Lumos Networks in 2016. At Lumos Data Centers Cindy is responsible for accounting and financial reporting and ensuring alignment with Lumos Networks accounting and financial controls.
